These socks are named for my dad, Grant. They’re just like him: no-nonsense, no foolishness, but comforting. Three sizes, so you can knit them for just about anyone. The pattern lends itself to any type of colorway so you can use your favorite indie or variegated yarns for when you don’t want Boring Dad socks.

Finished Size: S (M, L) 7” (8”, 9” around), unstretched

Yarn: Neighborhood Fiber Company Studio Sock, 100% Superwash Merino, 400 yards/100g (Sample knit in Mt. Vernon)

Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or two circular needles size 1 US (2.5 mm), or size to obtain gauge

Gauge: 8 stitches per inch in stockinette, knit in the round.
