Not-So-Norwegian Neck Warmer
An age-old Turkish motif combines with the Norwegian stranding technique to make a contemporary statement. I used Berroco Ultra Alpaca, one skein of each color: beet root, fennel, and henna. If you choose to substitute another worsted weight yarn, the best color description I can give is to go for a deep eggplant, a green-yellow, and a rusty orange. Pattern includes written directions and color charts. Stitches used are k, p, and yo.
Watch for the coordinating mitten pattern coming out this week, Not-So-Norwegian Mittens.
