Not so sad sacks
by Sue Sedlak
This is an excellent pattern for odds and ends. Makes a handy little bag for knitting bits and pieces or a gift bag.
The bottom of the sack is worked as a flat stocking stitch square. The edge of the square is then picked up and knit as a tube. The sack will not fall over when put down. There is an option to add eyelets around the neck and garter with a ribbon or I cord.
Difficulty Rating: Easy!
Please note that a portion of all sales will be donated to KIVA microloans for women running handcraft businesses in the 3rd world.
