This is my first attempt to fine tune the griddle stitch (universal suggestion for hound’s tooth) into a hound’s tooth pattern.

This pattern can be made with any weight yarn + appropriately sized hook. Therefore the size is variable. I have included my yarn choice with finished project dimensions. As such, gauge is not applicable.

I consider this an advanced pattern, requiring knowledge of changing colors in crochet + carrying yarns. To make the pattern more available to beginners, I have include links to video tutorials: How to Crochet a Two-Color Foundation chain and How to Crochet a Seamless Color Change.
