This is NOT your Granny’s granny square bag! Modern, with an ode to a very classic crochet pattern, made from 3 basic granny squares, you can make it any size you like by continuing to work rounds, but I have given instructions for the bag in 2
sizes— small for quick outings, and large for more of a tote feel. Crochet a handle, add a leather handle, or even a bandana. You can make this as simple a project as you want!

Pattern includes photos to aid in putting the squares together to form the bag, as well as links that I found helpful in learning to crochet a granny square, as well as the technique I prefer for joining the squares together.

I am new to crochet myself, so this pattern is written with the beginner in mind.
