Not Your Granny’s Sweater

It is time for a mash up. This sweater has the best of both worlds. Crocheted Granny Squares and a Knit Sweater, which gives it a retro feel with a modern twist.

The squares are crocheted, worked flat individually and then joined together with a crochet seam. The scalloped edges are knit in the round separately and then joined to the granny squares with a kitchener stitch. Stitches are then picked up from the top of the crochet squares and knit up to where the Raglan begins. The sleeves are worked the same as the bottom of the body and then attached to the body. There is a rolled neck to finish it out. This sweater has a positive ease of 2-6 in/5.08-15.24cm.
