Nothing like a Dame...
Nothing like a Pantomime Dame, of course!
Oh no there isn’t!
Oh yes there is!
OK, that really might be double Dutch unless you’re British. Look up ‘Pantomime’ somewhere. Anyway, panto Dames are much beloved, and these are named after three of the finest, Arthur Askey, Les Dawson and Dan Leno. All now dead, all legends in the theatre.
So. Last year we did the Bowbells Baubles, this year we have mini wreaths to hang on the tree / use as a table decoration. Because Belinda is so late getting these up they’re free for the moment, but not forever. These are real ‘use up whatever DK you have’. We had a few balls of bandless, unidentifiable yarn. We just knitted on 4mm nds. You won’t need more than 30/35m for each one. If your wreath forms are not the same size as ours, we’ve given pattern repeats so you can alter easily. You have time to knit a few before Christmas to grace your tree, stand in front of said tree and have your photo taken.
And then you can say:
’it’s BEHIND you!’ and giggle ridiculously.
12cm (4¾“) diameter polystyrene wreath form.
4mm nds
around 30 / 35m DK yarn in total for each ornament.
