This is an easy and quick pattern to knit, using knits, purls, and easy lace stitches.

The Nottingham hat is both charted and written out. Although it is only written for one size, the hat is fairly stretchy and will fit most women’s heads, suggestions are given in the pattern for adjusting size.

Yarn: The hat pictured is in Malabrigo Twist, but using the Berocco Ultra Alpaca creates a drapey fabric, so I have included both.

Errata: An typo was discovered in the text in the final section. You will have 5 stitches, NOT 6 stitches at the end of the charts.

Also, Row 13 is missing on the written instructions but is present on the chart (sorry, none of my testers caught that!). Row 13 is k6, k2tog, p1 around.

All errors been fixed in the most recent version of the pattern. Check your library for updates.
