N O U R A

N O U R A is a happily striped triangle shawl with curved corners and a two coloured elastic frame with a wavy finish - no knitted on border.

It ́s a good pattern for destashing and offers a lot of possibilities for all kinds of colour- and yarn combinations.

This pattern includes two versions for the shawl.

The size of N O U R A ist adjustable. You can use one ore two contrast colours or you can even change the colours throughout the shawl, create a rhythmn of two colours with thin stripes, three colours with bolder stripes or even use a range of many colours for a colourful shawl or pick „fading“ colours for a one-colour- scheme - there are many joyful options!

N O U R A is knitted bottom up mainly in garter stitch. Stripes are created by chain rows. They do add texture and colour. It ́s appealing to use not just one or two colours for them, even another yarn weight will add to the look.
Once you ́ve reached the full size, you will pick up and knit stitches around your shawl, which will look clean on both sides.
The frame is worked with two colours and is utterly elastic.

for a two coloured version (2CV) (MC/CC):
MC: 600-800m/656-874yds & CC: 200-300m/ 218-328yds of any of the welthase LACE yarns, the sample is knitted in welthase bfl lace in “poppy flash unique dots” and welthase single lace in “coral”.
for a three coloured version (3CV) (MC/ CC1 /CC2):
MC: 600-800m/656-765yds, CC1: 250-350m/ 218-328yds, CC2: 200-300m/ 218-328yds

This pattern is adjustable to any yarn even fingering or sport yarn. Please take into account, that by that gauge and size will be altered.
