Gauge and Materials:
Gauge is not important. This can be worked in any size yarn, with corresponding hook size. You will need at least 4 colors of your choice of yarn, one that gets carried through, and 3-6 for the other rows. You will also need a yarn needle and scissors.
I used worsted weight yarn and a H hook. Finished size was 9 inches in diameter.

A. Red Heart Super Saver, Turqua
B. Red Heart Super Saver, Pale Yellow
C. Red Heart Super Saver, Amethyst
D. Red Heart Super Saver, Carrot

Magic Circle
Ch- chain
Sc- single crochet
Hdc- half double crochet
Dc- double crochet
Sp- space
St- stitch
YO- yarn over
Rnd- round
FO- finish off
Slst- slip stitch
Sk- skip
Sc spike- Insert hook into st indicated in previous row, YO, pull up loop to height of active row, YO, pull through both loops on hook
Puff- YO, insert hook in st indicated, YO, pull up loop 4 times (9 loops on hook), YO, pull through all but one loop, YO, pull through last two loops
