In fingering or sport weight yarn,
C1 - 200 yds/183 m
C2 - 175 yds/160 m
C3 - 150 yds/137 m
C4 - 150 yds/137 m

A buffer is added to the estimated yarn amounts, so if you’re using a yarn with 200 yds per skein, you should not need more than one skein per color. Sample was knit with Hudson + West Co. Weld (70% Merino, 30% Corriedale; 200 yds/183 m per 50g) in Ash (C1), Jam (C2), Gold Leaf (C3), & Aspen (C4).

NEEDLES: 20-24”/50-60 cm circular needle in US 3/3.25 mm OR size required to obtain gauge, a spare circular needle of a similar length in US 3/3.25 mm or smaller to be used for joining the drawstring casing, optional dpns in US 3/3.25 mm for making i-cord

NOTIONS: waste yarn for provisional cast on, stitch markers, large safety pin, drawstring if you don’t plan to make your own, and a tapestry needle for weaving in ends
