This is the first time I’ve written out a pattern, so while I’ve had several people look it over it has only been tested by me. Feel free to contact me with any questions or issues you may notice!

This easily-customized infinity scarf, crocheted in a quick-working stitch, will please novice crochet artisans as well as those more comfortable with the craft. Using only around 300 yards of aran-weight yarn, this cowl would make a lovely gift, though you may want to keep the finished object for yourself!

Scarf is crocheted in a spiral, so unlike many crocheted-in-the-round patterns you will not join with a slip stitch at the end of each round. The stitch pattern is elastic and though the finished object may seem a bit biased coming off the hook, this will block out completely. You can keep track of the first sc in each round with a split ring marker to make sure you end precisely, but I like to use every inch of yarn and wherever that point happens to be!

I crocheted the prototype flat, using three skeins of Amazing, and used a slip-stitch seam at the end to join the cowl into a circle. While I was quite happy with the finished object I know people hate seams, so decided to go with the spiral version to avoid it. You could easily convert this to a flat pattern, though, just work back and forth without joining and seam to finish!
