Novelty Crochet Jumper
FOR wearing with smart linen suits, so popular this season, there is a distinction about this novel jumper which makes it especially suitable. It is very simply constructed of crocheted rings and bands, and is very quickly made. The task is an ideal one for holidays, for the rings can be made separately, are easily carried about, and may be picked up and put down at will. The jumper could be made in linen thread, boucle yarn, or any of the other attractive knitting threads on display in the shops.
About 12 balls of thread are necessary, a bone crochet hook, No. 11, and a pair of No. 9 knitting needles for the ribbings. The measurements given in the diagram are for a 35-inch bust. Length from shoulder to waist, 19 inches; length of sleeve seam, including cuff, 19 inches. The crochet rings and bands are shown together on the wrong side of the work.
Ribbing is done in knitting.
