One basic hat, using the same basic design, but with different colourways.

To fit from newborn (0-3 months) through to adult.

The pattern is a simple repeat, and works up very quickly indeed.

Materials:
1 skein Main colour and oddments contrasting colour for all hats except Christmas colourway which will require half a skein of red, half a skein of white and oddments of green.

You will also need, to complete all sizes, hooks as follows:

4mm; 4.5mm; 5mm; 5,5mm

And a yarn needle for sewing in ends.

A pompom maker is handy but not essential - instructions are given for making a pompom with 2 circles of cardboard.

Pattern is written in US terms; a conversion chart is included.

Difficulty: Easy.

Gauge: 7 double crochet clusters and 7 rows of double crochet clusters on 4mm hook = 4”
