Construction of the cardigan no. 71
The cardigan is worked back and forth, bottom up in three pieces in stockinette stitch with a strand of each yarn throughout. It has a ribbing at the neck, the lower body border and the sleeves.
The body is worked back and forth to the armhole and the two fronts and the back are then worked separately to the shoulders.
The sleeves are worked back and forth separately and sewn on to the cardigan.

Ease : the cardigan is intended to have approx. 8cm/3” positive ease.

19 sts and 28 rows = 10 cm / 4” in stockinette stitch.

Suggested Needle Sizes
Ribbing: 3.5mm/UK9.5/US4 or one size smaller than the larger needle size (circular needles to accommodate for the large number of stitches).

Main fabric: 4mm/UK8/US6 or the size to obtain gauge (circular needles to accommodate for the large number of stitches).
