I’m headed to New York next weekend and, seeing as November starts tomorrow, I wanted a new hat to take with me! This works up very quickly and uses very little yarn. Because there is PFDC work, it’s nice and warm, but still a bit slouchy.

The size can be easily adjusted to be larger or smaller by adding rows, taking away rows, or changing hook size. I used Vanna’s Choice for mine, because I’ve always wanted a bright orange hat, but any worsted or Aran yarn will work! For a slouchy hat, I suggest a bulky yarn. For a more snug fit, try a worsted!
