This pattern is a good opportunity to get rid of your leftover yarn. Choose a light main color and combine it with a dark red or green to create a star family.

Either use it for a decoration or place it on top of a neatly wrapped present… I´m so curious how you will use the star.

If you ever managed the decreases for a hat, this pattern will be easy for you to knit. If you never tried brioche before, maybe this little project is a good challenge. So don´t be afraid of brioche knitting any longer. You don´t have to be.

The star can be knit in multiple sizes by changing needle size and gauge; Block the finished star aggressively, pinning out each point as much as possible to smooth stitches and to sharp the points.
Follow the directions for a alternative br4stdec, without using a cable needle – you can do it.
