Nowhere Cowl
Part of the Better Elsewhere Collection, a design for sock yarn that is better used for something other than socks.
I love Noro Silk Garden Sock yarn, but it presents two challenges to sock knitters. The first is aesthetic: the colour runs are long enough that it’s well-nigh impossible to get a matched pair of socks. This may or may not bug you. The second one is more practical, and is guaranteed to be a bother: the yardage is pretty short, meaning that for many adult feet, you’re at risk of running out of yarn.
A single skein and you’re done. Make it a scarf or a cowl, knitter’s choice. Easy lace, ideal for a newer lace knitter. Really!
