This is a pattern for an amigurumi of Raven from DC’s ‘the New Teen Titans’ (published in the 80s). I thought it was a shame that we did not have any patterns I could find of NTT Raven, since that is my favorite interpretation of her. So I made one.

The pattern includes details on how to do her earrings, gem, and rings of Azar. Gauge is not terribly important, but I chose worsted weight yarn to make her a nice, huggable size (about 12 inches tall).

For the pattern, a D hook is used, as well as about 200 yards of black yarn (brava worsted weight ‘black’) 200 yards of dark blue yarn (brava worsted weight solstice heather) and 100 yards of a lightish brown or beige yarn (i used brava worsted weight almond). There is also a small amount of caron simply soft for her rings/ gem (red) and her earrings (sunshine).

I would recommend using two white 5/8th inch buttons for her buttons, as well as a pair of amigurumi/ saftey eyes, about 12 mm is good for a doll this big. (get four 12 mm eyes if you are using red for the skin and making demon Raven)
