Nubby Lace Scarf
This item is a pdf format pattern for a loose, almost net-like lacy scarf which is super fast to crochet when you make it with a monster size N hook! (Not that you have to- you can see examples of more loosely and more tightly crocheted pieces in the third photo). Whether made with a smaller hook or huge one, the oversize-shell-and-cluster motif is highly dimensional, producing cable-like ridges in your work. So satisfying! You can either simply use the motif to make a scarf as specifically directed in the pattern, or you can use the motif to make any rectangular project, like an afghan (these instructions are also included). You will use sc, dc, decr dc, chain, slip stitch and tc, and see the note below for materials.
Send me a message if you have any questions!
You’ll need: size H, J or N aluminum hook, standard light weight or medium weight yarn.
