ENGLISH BELOW
Desde que Rachel era pequeña le encanta el campo, las plantas, el bosque y las salidas al río. A su abuela, cordobesa, le gustaban los geranios, las gitanillas y los claveles con los que decoran los patios, y a ella le encanta utilizarlos para sacar los colores de sus hilos.

Rachel piensa que las plantas tienen alma y personalidad y eso lo transmiten a la lana cuando la tiñe, impregnándose de toda su esencia. No es solo color, va más allá, disfrutar de la compañía de las plantas, extraerles su pigmento y teñir, le hace ser feliz.

Cuando elegí entre la amplísima variedad de hilos que tenía &Point, me decidí por Cloud, porque me parecía que combinaba perfectamente con la idea que yo tenía en la cabeza de un chaleco oversize para usar en los días de otoño cuando todavía no hace demasiado frío y puedes llevar un vestido o un vaquero y una camisa. El resultado no me puede gustar más, la verdad es que la experiencia ha sido estupenda y ¡pienso usar muchísimo mi Chaleco Nube!

NOCIONES PREVIAS:
Es necesario saber tejer punto del derecho y del revés, hacer aumentos y reducciones, montar puntos mediante el método de la hebra larga y coser prendas de punto.

CONSTRUCCIÓN:
Este chaleco se teje de una sola pieza, empezando por el borde inferior del delantero y terminando en el borde inferior trasero. A continuación se cosen los laterales y la prenda estaría lista.

TALLAS:
Talla S: Contorno de pecho de la prenda 110cm / 43”.
Talla M: Contorno de pecho de la prenda 130cm / 51”.
Talla L: Contorno de pecho de la prenda 150cm / 59”.

En todos los casos la altura de la prenda es de 55cm.

AGUJAS:
Agujas circulares de 5 mm (US 8) con cable de 60 cm (24”) o las necesarias para obtener la muestra de tensión.

ACCESORIOS:
4 marcadores, aguja lanera para rematar hebras.

HILO:
4 (5, 5) madejas Cloud DK de &Point (65% Alpaca, 7% Merino, 28% Poliamida; 300 m / 100 g; 328 yd / 3.52 oz).

MUESTRA:
18 puntos y 26 vueltas para una muestra de 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4”) en punto jersey después de bloquear.

Since Rachel was little, she enjoyed the countryside, the plants, the woods, and the outings to the river. Her grandmother, from Córdoba, liked geraniums, cascading geraniums, and carnations, flowers that fill the typical Andalusian patios, and Rachel loves using them for dyeing her colourways.

Rachel thinks that plants have a soul and a personality, which they transmit to the yarn upon dyeing, being imbued by all their essence. It goes beyond colour, enjoying the company of plants, extracting their pigments, and dyeing with them, make her happy.

When choosing from the vast variety of yarns that &Point has, I decided for Cloud, because I thought it combined perfectly with the idea that I had in mind of an oversize vest to wear on autumn days, when it is still not too cold and you can layer it over a dress or jeans and a shirt. I could not be happier with the result, it was a great experience, and I anticipate wearing my NUBE vest a lot!

SKILLS:
To knit this vest, you need to know how to knit, purl, yarn over, make increases and decreases, perform a long tail cast-on, and sew knit pieces together.

CONSTRUCTION:
This vest is knit in one piece, starting at the bottom front edge and ending at the bottom back edge. The side seams are sewn together at the end, leaving the armholes open.

SIZES:
Size S: Bust circumference of the finished garment 110cm / 43”.
Size M: Bust circumference of the finished garment 130cm / 51”.
Size L: Bust circumference of the finished garment 150cm / 59”.
Total height is 55 cm / 21.5” for all sizes.

NEEDLES:
5 mm (US 8) / 60 cm (24”) circular needles, or the required needle size to obtain gauge.

4 stitch markers, tapestry needle to weave in ends.
