I love Numberblocks, my kids love Numberblocks, everyone loves Numberblocks! So what could be better than a series of knitted Numberblocks? Absolutely nothing of course!
This cuddly One is knit in the round on 4.25/4.5 mm dpns using Aran weight yarn (although gauge isn’t important so you can substitute for a lighter weight yarn if you don’t want your Numberblocks to be too big…). The body is worked in one piece, with the face duplicate stitched on before starting the decrease rounds (chart provided). The arms/legs are knit separately and attached at the end. Mine used up less than 40g of bright red, and small, scrap amounts of dark red, black and white for the arms, legs and face. You’ll also need stuffing and a tapestry needle, and stitch markers are always useful to keep track of stitches (although not essential). Skills required:
casting on and joining in the round
knitting
purling

m1r

ssk
k2tog
three needle bind off
duplicate stitch
