Nurse Jane
When my sister in law asked me to knit a nurse for her for a friend who was due to retire in a couple of months, I just knew I had to do it. It had been something I had been thinking about doing anyway. Nurse Jane is one of the many unsung hero’s of our NHS and I wanted to do her proud. Both my sister in law and her friend were over the moon with my efforts and I must say, I myself am really happy with how she turned out.
She is knitted flat using 3mm needles and DK yarn. Her stethoscope is made from an iCord, her little pens are just a cocktail stick and her name badge and little watch are printed then covered in clear tape front and back (instructions are included within the
pattern along with the actual name tag and watch I used so you can simply cut them out).
I hope you’ll enjoy knitting her as much as I have.
