These cute little nurses will make you feel better just by looking at them! Kokeshi dolls are traditionally made out of wood with simple lines which makes them ideal for making into amigurumi. This is an easy pattern that does not use a lot of yarn.
The finished doll measures 4 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide.
You’ll need:
Worsted Weight yarn in black, white, cream and red
Polyester fiberfill stuffing
Pair of black safety eyes, size 9 (optional)
3 small buttons for uniform
Yarn needle
Sewing needle
Crochet hook size “G”
You should know these stitches:
For crochet: chain, single crochet, decrease, and how to make a magic ring. For embroidery: you need to know chain stitch.
