The “Nutiden Family” Mitt(en)s are designed for Nutiden unspun yarn held double. You can either choose to make mittens or mitts based on this pattern.
To fit into the Nutiden Family Collection and give you the opportunity to make mitt(en)s for anyone of your family, there are 5 sizes available from toddler to adult-large.

This stripy texture is created by only using knits and purls. It is very easy to memorize and creates a quite addictive knitting experience. Additionally, it offers the perfect opportunity to play with all the beautiful Nutiden colors that Caroline & her team of Honer och Eir create. You could use only two colors, random leftovers, create a fade, marl colorways, repeat color sequences… there are endless possibilities to make the “Nutiden Family” Mitt(en)s match to the individual person you are making it for.

These mitts/mittens are a very quick knit and perfect as a last-minute gift!

blocked and dried: 17 sts x 28 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in textured pattern

Needles:
4 mm / US6 needles for textured pattern
