The Nutiden Family sweater is made for Nutiden unspun yarn held double and it is designed to be worn by the entire family. To fit everyone of your individual family, there is a separate pattern for women, men and kids sizes!

This sweater is knitted in the round from the top-down using raglan increases. A folded collar and some generous ribbing at the hem and cuffs are framing the main pattern (= stripy texture) of this design. “Seams” are created my slipping stitches when using the CC for the raglan lines, at the sides of the body and under the arms.

This stripy texture is created by only using knits and purls. It is very easy to memorize and it makes the knitting experience quite addictive. Additionally, it offers the perfect opportunity to play with all the beautiful Nutiden colors that Caroline of Honer och Eir creates. You could use only two colors, random leftovers, create a fade, marl colorways, repeat color sequences… there are endless possibilities to make the “Nutiden Family” sweater match to the individual person you are making it for.

Gauge: blocked and dry: 15 sts, 24 rows =10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches in textured pattern
