The Nuts-mitts are seamless, knit in the round mittens. Both the left and right mitts are identical. It starts with tubular cast on and continues to the paving stitch of the hand, with the creation of the thumb gusset by simple increase. After completing the rib at the top of the hand with tubular binding off, finish the thumb at the very last. ‘Paving stitch’ has elastic, so the fit is snug but not tight.

Yarn
50 grams of Retreat / Nutmeg fibers (320 m per 100 g).
Approximately 160 m DK or Sport weight yarn.
The sample was knit in color SILVER-VIEW.

Finished palm circumference: 18.5 cm
Total length: 19 cm

Needles
US 2 (2.75 mm) circular or double point needles for the rib, and US 4 (3.5 mm) circular or double point needles for the main part of the mitt. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Gauge
13 stitches & 30 rows in 2” (5 cm) in paving stitch on the larger needle, after blocking.

Nuts-mitts は, シームレスで左右同じパターンです.
作り目はTubular cast onを用いて、手のひらは Paving stitchを編みながら親指の増やし目を編みます. 仕上げもTublar cast offで伏せて, 最後に親指を編んで終わります. Paving stitchは伸縮性がありますので手によくフィットします.

Nutmeg fibers / Retreat (320 m per 100 g) を 50 g 使用. もしくは、DK〜Sportくらいの太さでゲージがとれる糸.
