Nuutti socks are great for using up mini skeins or left overs. The heel is knitted without short rows so easy knitting all the way.

The pattern is written for magic loop, but can easily be modified for double pointed needles. Needle A refers to instep stitches and needle B to sole stitches. The sample socks were knitted toe up.

Sizes

S (56 sts), M (64 sts) and L (72 sts)
Foot circumference 17 (19.5) 22 cm / 6.75 (7.75) 8.75 inches.

Yarn

For ankle length socks you will need at least 3 mini skeins and for the mid calf socks you will need need at least 3 (4) 4 mini skeins. One of the sample socks is knitted with 7 and the other with 8 different colours but you can use as many colours you want.

The sample socks were knitted with WoolWomen Merino Sock minis (75% SW Merino, 25% Nylon) in multiple colours, 425 m / 465 yds per 100 g, each mini skein weights 20 g.

Needles & notions

2.75 mm / US 2 circular needle (80 cm / 32 inches long or longer) or size to meet the gauge markers, tapestry needle for weaving in ends

36 sts x 48 rows = 10x10 cm / 4x4 inches in stockinette stitch after blocking

Nuutti sukkiin voit käyttää kalenteri minivyyhtejä tai sukkalanka jämiä. Kantapää neulotaan ilman lyhennettyjä kerroksia, joten neulominen on helppoa alusta loppuun.

Ohje on kirjoitettu neulottavaksi looppaamalla, mutta sukat voi myös neuloa sukkapuikoilla. Puikolla A neulotaan jalkapöydän ja puikolla B jalkapohjan silmukat.
