To create Nuvola the Flamingo I used 2 shade of pink cotton yarn and a fur pink yarn to make the plumage of the wings, but you can use the colours and yarn you prefer.

Materials

• Delfino cotton yarn 5: light pink n. 78, dark pink n. 734, and black n. 920
• Pink fur yarn ‘Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk powder pink’ n. 12 2,5 mm crochet
• Hook 2,5 mm
• 1 pair of 8 mm safety eyes
• Fiberfill for stuffing
• Tapestry needle and scissors

Crochet Stitches

BASIC AMIGURUMI STITCHES:
single crochet, increase, decrease, magic ring.

SPECIAL STITCHES:

• loop stitch: this is optional, I used it for wings and tail, it’s possible to replace the loop stitch with the simple single crochet, it works anyway!
• embroidery chain stitch: I used it for the beak, but it’s a little detail, it’s possible to skip this step.

Skill level: intermediate

Per realizzare Nuvola il fenicottero ho usato due gradazioni di cotone rosa più un filato ‘peloso’ misto mohair per dare l’effetto piuma.

Con questo schema otterrete un Fenicottero alto circa 18 cm (usando il filato e l’uncinetto suggeriti).

maglia bassa, aumenti e diminuzioni, anello magico.

PUNTI SPECIALI:
punto pelliccia: è opzionale, l’ho utilizzato per le ali e la coda, è possibile sostituirlo con la semplice maglia bassa, il risultato sarà ugualmente efficace.
punto catenella ricamato: si tratta di un punto base del ricamo, l’ho utilizzato solo per un dettaglio del becco, se risultasse troppo difficile è possibile evitare quel passaggio.
