Gansey’s are traditionally associated with keeping loved ones safe at sea. My friend Niall Iain MacDonald is planning to be at sea for a long time. In 2012 he intends to row, yes row, by himself from New York to Stornaway in a supreme effort to raise money for the Scottish Association for Mental Health (SAMH).
