Nymphaeaceae Cowl
Nymphaeaceae is the family of flowering plants commonly known as water lilies. The gracefully flowing lace in this cowl evokes images of lily pads; in fact the lace pattern comes from a traditional Estonian pattern of that name. The fiber content of the yarn provides both warmth and structure, and drapes beautifully, making it ideal for a long cowl.
Size is easily adaptable, and any fingering, sport, or DK weight yarn would be appropriate.
Light blocking is required to open up the lace stitches.
