Feb 18/10:
One of the first people to knit these (besides me) noted that she found the mitts a little long. I have therefore added a chart to the (revised) pattern that allows for a shorter mitten. This might be particularly helpful for those with small hands or when knitting for children. The update is now included in the main pattern on Ravelry.
