The solution to garter stitch and seamed tree ornaments! This little tree is knitted in one piece using the double knit technique, using two skeins of the same color. The resulting trees are completely reversible in stockinette.

The project is suitable for beginner double knitters -- however, it is a somewhat atypical example of the technique, so it may be a bit confusing as an introduction.

Gauge doesn’t matter, although a smaller needle will produce a tighter and neater-looking FO. Sample was knit with US 5s.
