A beautiful 70s vintage style cropped sweater pattern with a christmas tree motif, and integrated wooden beads. Pattern includes charts for the colourwork and detailed instructions on adding beads. The sweater design is a loose fit with wide sleeves and has therefore been written for three sizes: XS/S, M, and L.

Chest(armpit to armpit): XS/S: 49 cm (98 cm total), M: 55 cm (110 cm total), L: 61 cm (122 cm total)

Materials:
1. Drops Nepal yarn:

  • Colour A (base colour): 7 (525m), (7 (525m), 8 (600m) balls
  • Colour B (tree and ribbing colour): 3 (all sizes) balls (225m)
  • Assorted colours for sleeves: 1–3 balls of each colour (75-225m) Total yardage: 900m (900m, 975m) / 12 (12, 13) balls

You may adjust the yarn amount depending on your chosen sleeve pattern or add more to the base/tree colours if preferred.

  1. Assorted wooden beads (ensure beads have a large enough hole for a 1mm crochet hook)
  2. 1mm crochet hook for bead placement
  3. Stitch markers
  4. 6mm circular knitting needles (or double-pointed needles for sleeves if preferred)
  5. Darning needle for weaving in ends
