O Tannenbaum Hat
The O Tannenbaum hat pattern is done using the mosaic technique. Mosaic knitting is a method of colorwork, and it is more stretchy than stranded knitting because it doesn’t have long floats. Also, only one color is used at a time, making it easier for beginners. This mosaic hat pattern contains instructions to make hats from both sport and worsted weight, with and without a fold over brim.
Charted instructions only.
Gauge: Sport: 28 sts per 4 inches in mosaic pattern, each tree pattern is 1 1/8 inch (3 cm) wide
Worsted: 21 sts per 4 inches in mosaic pattern, each pattern is 1 1⁄2 inches (3.8 cm) wide
Sizes: newborn, small child, large childdult, medium adult, large adult)
Sport weight: 13.5, 15.75, 182.5, 24.75) inches
