The following patterns are guides for making a selection of projects using the same base motif - a cushion cover, a baby blanket, a wide scarf and a slim scarf.

It is recommended that you use 8-ply yarn and 3.25mm needles (circular or DPNs) (UK 10, US 3), but you can easily modify the patterns to adjust for different yarn and needles.

For the projects knitted flat (cushion cover and baby blanket), it is recommended that you use the intarsia method for working the motif, but it is possible to use regular stranded colourwork.

Both scarf patterns are written for knitting-in-the-round using double-pointed needles, but you can also use a circular needle and the magic loop method.
