This pattern was created with inspiration from the mighty old oak trees with all their branches that reach out from the middle trunk.
The pattern is also available for FREE on my website, www.meandmyyarn.me/OakRavelry-web in English. The pdf here on Ravelry (eng, US terms) also includes charts / diagrams for the shawl pattern, which the website does not.
A video tutorial is also available for this pattern on:
Main pattern video tutorial: http://www.meandmyyarn.me/OakOfLifeVideo

If you like this pattern and want to support me in making more patterns for you to enjoy, buy this pattern as a pdf-version. That way you’ll have a nice looking printable version that lasts forever and ever, and I can keep creating patterns to keep you happily crocheting until your hook’s on fire! Like that would stop anyone of us from crocheting, really?! Not! But anyway, you get the picture :-)
I’m hoping you enjoy this pattern!
Yarn and hook
I used the Hobbii Metallico yarn. 50 g (1.75 oz)/ skein: 50 g , 115 m (126 yds).Yarn weight is medium and I used a 5 mm hook (an H or a 8). The pattern uses 3.5 skeins for the main part of the pattern (rosaline, here “color A”) and 1.5 skeins for the edge (sky blue metallic, here “color B”). So a total of about 600 meters (but you need 4 skeins for the main color and 2 skeins for the edge color).
