This hat is worked in “reversible-knitting” and therefore very warm and soft. Another advantage of this technique is, that you practically get two hats in one. As there is no “wrong“ side, you have one hat in dark brown with a beige pattern, and, turning it inside out, another one in beige with the pattern in dark brown.

The hat can be knitted with earflaps and a hole for your ponytail (as shown in the pictures) or without these two features.
