Oat Harvest Mitts
Available as part of a kit from The Woven.
The Oat Harvest Mitts got their name from the Wild Oats stitch in the Up, Down, All-Around Stitch Dictionary by Wendy Bernard. I could imagine the oats swaying in the breeze waiting for harvest and loved the motif, so I put them on some gloves so that I could easily look at my hands and enjoy them.
The Oat Harvest Mitts are worked in the round on double pointed needles and are fingerless, meaning they are very versatile and can be worn practically anywhere - my pair have even been worn at work as I am still able to write while wearing them!
YARDAGE
Each mitt uses approximately 50m/25g.
SIZE
One size fits most adult female hands (19cm/7.5” circumference around the hand above the thumb).
If wanting slightly bigger mitts use aran weight yarn (8 wpi).
