The combination of four textured stitch patterns with a stocking stitch bodice defines this elegant cardigan. Knitted from the bottom up, it also features set-in sleeves and no buttons.

This cardigan is knitted flat from the bottom up working the back, two fronts and sleeves separately. The two front bands are worked by picking up stitches along the knitted fronts using k2, p2 rib stitch. The neck band is worked by picking up stitches across both fronts and back, working 8 rows in k2, p2 rib stitch.

The cardigan is designed without buttons or buttonholes. It can be joined at the neck by either a shawl pin or a brooch.
