There’s a certain kind of yarn I like a lot. It’s sturdy, gorgeous, natural and strong. (There’s also a kind of beer like that, and I like it a lot too.) This sort of yarn speaks to me, and sings songs of warm oatmeal, coziness and sheep. Sometimes I think of a pattern and have to search for the yarn, but this one went the other way around. The minute I held this gorgeous stuff in my hands I knew just what it wanted to be. A cowl or infinity scarf (depending on the size - there’s even an option to make it taller and extra cozy.) and a pair of mittens, so you can have it by your face, but still squeeze it in your hands. Like oatmeal, this set has a lot going on, but is very simple. There’s only ever one colour per round, and the seemingly complex colour work is accomplished with simple slipped stitches.

Yarn: Clara’s Yarn CVM/Romeldale 1.0 One skein each of Cloud, Sand and Earth.
115g, 274 metres per skein.

I was able to make a cowl, infinity scarf and mittens from three skeins.

Gauge: 20 stitches to 10cm in pattern, after washing.
Suggested needles: 4.5mm, or whatever gets you gauge. (80cm circular for the scarf, 40cm for the cowl, and DPN’s for the mittens.)
