This is a PDF knitting pattern for the OB Cardi, inspired by my former home, Ocean Beach - in San Diego, California.
This intentionally oversized garment is beginner friendly and is a great introduction to lace/eyelet work in knitting. It features an eyelet back and kimono style sleeves.
The body of this garment is worked flat, continuously in one piece. You will begin working from the bottom of the back panel and then bind off stitches at the top to split for the left and right panels, working down each side individually. You will then use a tapestry needle to seam sides to create arm holes. Sleeves are created by picking up stitches and working in the round. The bottom edging and collar trim are added at the end.
This garment was designed with several inches of positive ease for an oversized fit.

XS: fits bust: 28-30in / 71-76cm cross back: 25in / 63.5cm
S: fits bust: 32-34in / 81-86cm cross back: 25in / 63.5cm
M: fits bust: 36-38 in / 91.5-96.5cm cross back: 30in / 76cm
L: fits bust: 40-42in / 101.5–106.5cm cross back: 31.5in / 80cm
XL: fits bust: 44-46in / 11.5–117cm cross back: 31.5in / 80cm
2X: fits bust: 48-50in / 122–127cm cross back: 35.5in / 90cm
3X: fits bust: 52-54in / 132-137cm cross back: 37in / 94cm
4X: fits bust: 56-58in / 142-147cm cross back: 39in / 99cm
5X: fits bust: 60-62in / 152-158cm cross back: 41 in / 104cm
