PATTERN NOTES
Clean white accents paired with turquoise stripes makes for an oceanic-inspired shawl perfect for any beachside excursion. This shawl has an unusual construction. First, the Side 1/striped portion is worked beginning with just 3 stitches. After binding off Side 1, stitches are picked up along one edge and Side 2 is worked downward from there.

When working the Stripe Sections, do not cut colors at the color changes. Instead, carry unused color loosely up the side of the work.

It is essential to bind off Side 1 stitches loosely. You may wish to bind off using a needle 1-2 sizes larger to ensure a loose bind off. There are also many available resources to learn stretchy bind-off methods.
