Winter is here. So what about some thick and quick mittens?? I like this design because it’s easy, but yet very nice looking because of the yarn! I used the Caron Tea Cakes for my mittens, but any size 6 ‘’Super Bulky’’ yarn will do! You could even make those mittens with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn if you want! As long as you respect the gauge.

This pattern is using US terms.

What does this pattern contain:

• The instructions for 3 different sizes, all written separately
• The instructions to adapt this pattern to other sizes
• A photo tutorial

What are the sizes included:

• Adult Small (8 inches (20,5 cm) long)
• Adult Medium (8,5 inches (21,5 cm) long)
• Adult Large (9 inches (23 cm) long)

Difficulty level of the pattern:

• Beginner/Intermediate.

For this pattern, you will need to know:

• how to chain
• how to slip stitch
• how to make a single crochet
• how to work in the back loop only
• how to work on the side of a stitch
• how to use a stitch marker
• how to decrease
• how to sew using the whip stitch (there’s very little sewing to do, don’t be discourage by that part)

Les mitaines Obsidian

L’hiver est là. Alors quoi de mieux que des mitaines épaisses et rapides?? J’aime ce design parce que c’est facile, mais tout de même très beau à cause de la laine! J’ai utilisé les Caron Tea Cakes pour mes mitaines, mais n’importe quelle laine de taille 6 ‘’Super Bulky’’ ferait l’affaire! Vous pourriez même faire ces mitaines avec 2 brins de laine médium #4 si vous voulez! En autant que vous respectiez l’échantillon!

Que contient ce patron:

• Les instructions pour 3 différentes tailles, toutes écrites séparément
• Les instructions pour adapter ce design à d’autres tailles
• Un tutoriel photo

Quelles sont les tailles incluses:

• Adulte Petit (8 pouces (20,5 cm) de longueur)
• Adulte Medium (8,5 pouces (21,5 cm) de longueur)
• Adulte Large (9 pouces (23 cm) de longueur)

Niveau de difficulté du patron:

• Débutant/Intermédiaire.

Pour faire ce patron, vous devez savoir:

• comment faire une maille en l’air
• comment faire une maille coulée
• comment faire une maille serrée
• comment travailler dans le brin arrière seulement
• comment travailler sur le côté d’une maille
• comment utiliser un marqueur de maille
• comment faire une diminution
• comment coudre en utilisant le point de surjet (il y a très peu de couture à faire, ne soyez pas découragé par cet aspect)
