Ocaso
Ocaso (Spanish word for “sunset”) is an elegant shawl that will surely keep you warm through a cool evening. Its dense gauge and beautiful Tunisian crochet stitches give this garment a woven-like feel while the luxurious yarn base of merino, yak and silk give it amazing drape.
With a generous size it will also help you get through those special 4-ply skeins we all have in our stash.
Practice your Tunisian crochet skills by crocheting this shawl which is worked from the top down using two basic stitches and changing colours without having to cut the yarn. That means less ends to weave in! Make sure to check the A Crochet Journey blog for tutorials on how to work the stitches used in this pattern.
