This is a pattern to make a hat for a special occasion, or indeed every day!

My then 4 month old daughter and I were invited to a wedding and I couldn’t find anything for her to wear that suited the situation, so I set about this design.

With a turned up flap off centre it looks fabulous with a feather, or as in the pattern with a flower (or two) sewn on. Simple and easy to make - definitely suitable for a beginner, this hat has had so many compliments!

Easily adjustable to fit any age.
