The Occitan shawl’s semi-circular shape grows from a garter tab cast-on of just a few stitches and features a stockinette body with swirling increases that flow into the lacy edging.

Occitan is a collaboration between independent dyer The Uncommon Thread and designer Beth Kling, and will initially be offered exclusively as part of a kit sold in The Uncommon Thread’s Etsy Shop.
