features/techniques: Tapestry Crochet in single crochet (sc) stitch using varied fibers in similar weights, incorporating decreases to make shaping darts

skills: know how to:

• do Tapestry Crochet (change colors within a row while carrying inactive color within active stitches; Youtube ‘Tapestry Crochet’ for tutorials)
• use a full-page color chart grid
• ch (chain)
• sc (single crochet)

hook: both E/3.5mm (for water & sky) & F/3.75mm (for sand) were used; can use only E for entire piece

yarn: the nine are listed with pattern in order used; note that for primarily wet use such as swimming, cotton/nylon blends are recommended rather than acrylics
