Ocean Breeze is an intricate shawl implementing stitch designs that showcase traditional techniques, intertwined with modern Japanese lace. The shawl draws inspiration from vintage baby blankets and their soft flowing drape. Ocean Breeze attempts to modernise the lace featured in heirloom blankets with bobbles and a slip stitch garter ridge.

Ocean Breeze features yarn from Great Ocean Road Woollen Mill, proudly Australian Made using Australian-sourced superfine merino, suri and huacaya alpaca. The design pulls out the softness of superfine merino and marries it with the firm yet light texture of linen.
