Three Birds Yarn Studio
This fingering weight shawl is just full of varying stripes and lace elements. The three colors fade into each other throughout six sections of this shawl in varying designs to create a truly engaging knit. I have named this the ‘Ocean Horizon Shawl’ because the stripes remind me of a setting sun over the water. The shawl is constructed by casting on at the right corner and knitting sideways to the left edge. You will slowly increase as you go to create a scalene triangular shape. I have knit my shawl using La Jolla fingering weight yarn from Baah Yarns and I just love how these three colors complement each other so well.
